“The U. S. NAVY – An Illustrated History.” By Nathan Miller. Published by American Heritage Publishing and the U.S. Naval Institute, this large book, measures 11 by 9 inches, over an inch thick. It tells the story of the United States Navy, starting in 1776. Nearly every page has  one or more photos, map, or drawing. Photos and illustrations are in color and black and white. Miller also wrote “War At Sea.” Great coffee table-type of book, something for everyone to see. 1977 Hardback edition with No dust jacket. Book is covered in a clear protective plastic. 415 pages, with countless photos as above stated.
