Includes many rare photos not published in later books on this subject. Two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Samuel Eliot Morison, was the official historian for the U.S. Navy’s actions in World War II. A great book for your WWII naval library. Originally published in 1948, this is a 1988 Hardback, No dust jacket. 411 pages, 57 black and white photos, index, and 29 maps, one is a large fold-out.
